The largest to date diving support construction vessel of Singapore-based Ultra Deep Solutions, the DSCV Matisse, is said to be on schedule for Q2 2019.

The Matisse is an MT 6027 design with 145 meters in length and a beam of 27 meters.

The vessel is a DNV-GL class with a 24 men saturation system with twin bell and twin 24 men SPHLs. It will be equipped with 400t Huisman crane which can reach water depths of 5200 meters.

Keel laying ceremony for the Matisse was held at the China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) yard in November 2017.

To remind, while the Matisse is currently taking shape, UDS has also recently exercised an option on its sister vessel, named ‘Kandinsky’.
