U.S.-based marine transportation company Harvey Gulf has taken delivery of the Harvey America vessel.

Harvey Gulf said earlier this week that the Harvey America was the fifth LNG dual fuel offshore supply vessel to join its fleet.

The fourth vessel, named Harvey Freedom, was delivered to Harvey in May 2017.

In addition to being powered by cleaner burning natural gas, these vessel are “ENVIRO+, Green Passport” certified by ABS.

The Harvey Freedom is based out of Port Fourchon, Louisiana under a five-year charter with an unnamed oil and gas company.

Harvey’s other three LNG-fueled offshore vessels – Harvey Liberty, Harvey Energy, and Harvey Power – are operating for Shell in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
