Dragon LNG terminal in the United Kingdom is scheduled for a cargo delivery on March 6, likely originating from the Novatek-led Yamal LNG project in the Russian Arctic.

The shipping data from the Milford Haven Port Authority shows that the Greek-flagged 174,000-cbm Maran Gas Ulysses is delivering a cargo from Montoir, France.

Data from the Nant Saint-Nazaire Port shows the vessel is scheduled to arrive at the Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal on March 3, the same day the Arc7 ice-class LNG tanker Christophe de Margerie is scheduled to arrive at the terminal.

LNG World News contacted Elengy, a unit of the French energy company and LNG player Engie, seeking confirmation of the transshipment operation which would see the Yamal LNG volumes from the Christophe de Margerie transferred to the Maran Gas Ulysses before the latter departs for the UK.

Elengy has already performed a transshipment of Russian LNG to a conventional LNG carrier at the terminal in January.

Maran Gas Ulysses has the capacity to take on board the entire load from the Christophe de Margerie LNG carrier that is capable of transporting 172,600 cubic meters of the chilled fuel.

This would be the second Yamal LNG cargo to unload at the Dragon liquefied natural gas terminal, following a delivery in mid-January completed by the Christophe de Margerie.
