Innospection Boosts Presence in Brazil with Advanced NDT Buy

Innospection, an inspection provider for the oil and gas industry, has acquired Advanced NDT Brazil.

The acquisition sees Aberdeen-based, Innospection secure a physical presence in Brazil with their new office in Campos, Rio de Janeiro and will see them build on relationships and inspection contracts they already have in the region.

As part of the acquisition three members of staff will join Innospection, in addition to the owner of Advanced NDT Brazil, Dr Cesar Boynard, who has been appointed, Innospection Brazil director.

Andreas Boenisch , MD, Innospection, said: “This is a strong development for us, in an important market that we are committed to. NDT Brazil have a fantastic skill set and respected reputation which will only enhance Innospection’s current inspection offering to this offshore market. Our new operational base in Brazil allows us to further introduce the MEC Technology we have developed to the market, to provide a superior inspection service to clients.”

The financial terms surrounding the deal have not been disclosed.
