India-based provider of diver support vessel services Seamec has entered into a charter contract for the diving support vessel Seamec Princess with Kreuz Subsea.

The charter follows recent deal between the two companies for the multi-role/accommodation vessel MV ‘Revelation’ .

The Seamec Princess will be carrying out the work at inner anchorage in Mumbai High offshore, the company said.

The contract, which started March 7 this year, is for a firm period of 45 days with option for extension. The value of the charter during firm period is $1.26 million.

The Seamec Princess is a is 123.4 meters LOA dive support vessel, built in 1984, with a 12-man saturation diving system certified for 300 MSW.

The vessel provides services, which include S.B.M maintenance removal and installations, platform, riser and pipeline repairs, inspection & survey, subsea constructions, anode installations, ROV & grouting operations and hook up jobs/commissioning.
