France’s GTT scores LNG tanks order from Hyundai Samho

France’s GTT said it had received an order from the Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries for the design of liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanks.

The tanks will be installed onboard two new 174,000-cbm LNG carriers with an expected delivery in 2020, GTT said on Wednesday.

GTT will design the LNG tanks of both units, each equipped with the Mark III Flex containment system.

The French LNG containment system maker did not reveal the value of the deal.
