The ITF (Industry Technology Facilitator) and the Oil & Gas Technology Centre (OGTC) merger has now been completed.
The merger to focus and enhance the technology and innovation support for the UK oil and gas industry, was announced in February this year.
Teams from both organisations worked together to deliver a smooth transition.
Ongoing ITF projects, which include a portfolio of subsurface technologies, have been integrated with the Oil & Gas Technology Centre’s solution centre programme. Existing ITF members were closely involved in this process to ensure continuity and successful project execution.
As earlier reported, ITF chief executive – Dr Patrick O’Brien will step down from his role.
