Royal IHC has just released a short video of the the building process and launch ceremony of the CSD Jarash.
The 3,557kW custom-built stationary cutter suction dredger was launched on Wednesday 7 March at IHC’s shipyard in Kinderdijk.
Named after an ancient city in Jordan, the custom-built stationary CSD will be delivered to Arab Potash Company (APC).
After her arrival in Jordan later this year, the vessel will start dredging in the potash mines of the southern Dead Sea.
To enable the customer to use the full potential of the equipment, an extensive training program will be provided by IHC.
