France’s GTT wins Hyundai Heavy LNG order

France’s GTT has secured an order from the Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) to equip a new LNG carrier with its membrane containment system. France’s GTT has secured an order from the Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) to equip a new LNG carrier with its membrane containment system.

GTT’s Mark III Flex cryogenic membrane containment system will be installed onboard a 180,000-cbm LNG carrier to be built by Hyundai ‘s shipyard in Ulsan on behalf of an unnamed European shipowner, according to a GTT statement.

The LNG carrier is scheduled for delivery in March 2020.

GTT did not disclose the value of the order.
