Petrobras Signs Up Two Solstad Farstad Ships

Petrobras has awarded Solstad Farstad a one-year firm contract to the AHTS Far Scout and to the AHTS BOS Turquesa. Petrobras has awarded Solstad Farstad a one-year firm contract to the AHTS Far Scout and to the AHTS BOS Turquesa.

The Far Scout will be equipped with Fugro’s FCV work-class ROV suitable for 3.000 meters water depth.

Both vessels will support exploration and production activities in Brazilian continental shelf.

According to the Oslo-listed marine contractor, the work will take place during Q3 2018.

Petrobras has the option to extend the contract with further one-year period, Solstad Farstad noted.
