Seabed Geosolutions, a joint venture between Fugro and CGG, has received a contract for an ocean bottom seismic (OBS) project in the Middle East.
The survey to acquire high quality 3D seismic data is planned to start in the fourth quarter of 2018.
According to Fugro, the contract has a value of around USD 25 million.
The company did not disclose the name of the client.
Seabed Geosolutions collects geophysical data on the seabed through an array of imaging technologies for oil and gas companies, focused on the development and production phases of oil and gas fields.
