Solstad Farstad sells anchor handler

Solstad Farstad ASA, has sold one of its AHTS vessels.

Deep Sea Supply Shipowning, a subsidiary of Solstad Farstad, has sold one of its anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessels.

Solstad Farstad said on Monday that the company sold its Sea Badger anchor handler and delivered it to an unnamed, new owner on Friday, April 13.

The Sea Badger was built in 2011 by ABG Shipyard LTD India. It is a 63-meter-long and 15.8-meter-wide AHTS vessel which can accommodate 28 people.

Also, Deep Sea Supply Shipowning I AS, another subsidiary of Solstad Farstad, delivered the Sea Fox, Sea Vixen, and Sea Stoat AHTS vessels to the Brazilian Navy.

To remind, the three anchor handlers were sold in a deal worth approximately $24 million back in September 2017 .

When it comes to the vessels, Sea Fox was built in 2010 while the Sea Vixen and Sea Stoat were built in 2011. All these vessels were also built by ABG Shipyard LTD India.
