Fibre rope manufacturers Lankhorst Ropes and Phillystran, both WireCo WorldGroup companies, have signed an exclusive strategic supply agreement with Precision Tension Solutions (PTS) in Houston, Texas.
Under the agreement, PTS will supply project engineered ropes to the offshore construction, subsea installation, heavy lift, commercial marine, seismic, mining and utility industries in the Gulf region.
In addition, the exclusive supply agreement will see PTS provide sales support and undertake rope confection.
Wilco Stroet , managing director, Lankhorst Ropes and Phillystran, said: “PTS has a great business model based on their ability to supply tailored synthetic solutions. These can be a Dyneema type product but also an Aramid, all in different constructions to meet the customer’s application needs. With the agreement, Lankhorst and Phillystran finally has a partner in Houston able to give our customers the service they need.”

The PTS agreement excludes Lankhorst Ropes deepwater mooring, single point mooring and international shipping business.
