CCB Subsea has secured a long-term and nationwide framework agreement with Norske Shell for the delivery of engineering services, maintenance of subsea equipment and recertification of well control equipment.

The agreement has a duration of 3 years, plus options, for Norske Shell installations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

In recent years, CCB Subsea and Shell have collaborated on engineering, maintenance services and offshore operations. The cooperation has now been extended and formalized through the agreement, which also covers recertification of well control equipment, the company explained.

“ The agreement represents a milestone for both CCB Subsea and the subsea market. The market is changing, and for the first time, an independent maintenance contractor such as CCB Subsea delivers a full recertification of critical well control equipment,” said Nils Fr. Fjærvik , CEO at CCB Subsea.
