Dutch offshore accommodation provider Chevalier Floaters has secured a contract in the oil and gas sector in the Dutch section of the North Sea.

The company has said that the contract marks a return of its DP Galyna vessel to the oil and gas sector following three years of work exclusively in the renewables market. DP Galyna is a service support vessel with Ampelmann gangway with 55 beds for client personnel.

The DP Galyna, offering walk-to-work capability, is expected to start the contract by the end of May. It will be providing support for a platform inspection campaign.

Chevalier did not reveal the name of the client, nor the financial details of the deal.
