M. C. Construction (Cleveland) Limited (MCC) has completed the fabrication and coating of two blade rack grillages as part of a blade upgrade campaign at an offshore wind project.

According to MCC, the grillages are expected to be mobilized onto MPI Offshore’s wind turbine installation vessel MPI Adventure next week.

In the meantime, work continues on the mezzanine deck structures, which are scheduled for loadout later this month, the company said.

In March, the UK-based company won a contract for the fabrication and mobilization of approximately 250 tons of steelwork for the offshore wind turbine blade upgrade campaign.

The name and the location of the offshore wind project have not been disclosed.
