Six LNG vessels, with a total carrying capacity of 21 Bcf departed the two exporting facilities in the United States, compared to five LNG carriers that were dispatched the week before.

EIA notes that four cargoes were dispatched from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG facility while the remaining two were loaded at Dominion’s Cove Point LNG plant.

According to EIA’s data, two vessels, with a combined LNG carrying capacity of 7.3 Bcf were loading on Wednesday, May 9, one each at Sabine Pass and Cove Point LNG export plants.
