The company formerly known as Gardline Surveys Inc. has been renamed to Ocean Geo Solutions.

The Gardline group was acquired by the Dutch company Boskalis in August of 2017.

As part of the subsequent re-structuring, the data interpretation and consultancy business based in Houston has become an independently owned and managed company and is no longer a part of the Gardline group.

Under the new name, Ocean Geo Solutions will continue to provide data interpretation and reporting services and said it will be adding some additional related services.

The company will continue to operate out of offices in Houston, with key personnel; Andrew Haigh, Michael Pentland and teams of geophysicists and cartographers.

The Gardline fleet of survey vessels remains with the Gardline group.

“Ocean Geo Solutions will no longer be involved in managing those vessels but, for any clients who do require offshore geophysical, geotechnical or environmental services, Ocean Geo Solutions will be pleased to assist in finding those resources,” the company said.
