Brazil’s Petrobras said that its oil and natural gas production reached 2.68 million barrels of oil equivalent per day during the month of April remaining flat compared to the previous month.
The state-owned energy giant said that 2.59 million boed were produced in Brazil and 95 thousand boed were produced abroad.
The production of natural gas, excluding the liquefied volume, was 79.0 million cubic meters per day, 1.2 percent higher than the previous month.
The natural gas production abroad was 6.3 million cubic meters day, 1.6 percent below the volume produced in March.
The reduction occurred mainly as a function of maintenance in the fields of Saint Malo and Lucius, in the United States, the company said in its statement.
