Royal HaskoningDHV will be the lead sponsor of the networking drinks reception on the first day of the UK Ports Conference.

The company has been involved in the successful delivery of many of the major developments at UK ports and terminals including the container terminal Liverpool2, work on Dover Harbor Board port capacity and the supervision of the design and reconstruction of Teesport No 1 Quay.

Craig Huntbatch, Resident Director for the UK, will welcome guests to the reception and also be part of the judging panel for the event awards.

Mike Ramsay, Technical Director of Maritime and Aviation at Royal HaskoningDHV , will speak on the second day of the event, exploring the topic ‘ Harnessing new technologies that improve port efficiencies ’ and examining the latest emerging technologies and innovations in the industry.

“ We have extensive experience working not only in the UK, but also across Europe and the world, so my talk will include valuable information about how we have helped to develop ports in cities such as Rotterdam and Singapore and what learnings from these can be beneficial to the UK ports industry ,” said Mike Ramsay.

Now in its 10th year, the UK Ports Conference is the leading event for the UK ports industry. The main theme of this year’s event is ‘ Identifying opportunities for growth and delivering port infrastructure to support emerging markets and respond to trade and shipping patterns ’.

The UK Ports Conference 2018 takes place at the Congress Centre in London on 22 and 23 May 2018.
