Dragflow SRL, an Italian manufacturer of dredging equipment, said in their latest announcement that the Tropea harbor in Italy is getting fit for the summer.
Dragflow and Dragflow Sud recently delivered an HY85/160 HC hydraulic pump in order to clean the port entrance and prevent the progressive silting process.
“The programmed and periodic maintenance is a must to always ensure full functionality and to preserve from harder and more expensive extraordinary jobs. Moreover the use of our pumps ensure a non stop service of the port, ” said the company.
Dragflow’s hydraulic submersible dredging pump is suitable for dredging and mining application. The slurry can be piped to its destination eliminating haul trucks, conveyor belts, and other mechanical earth-moving equipment.
Dragflow submersible dredge pumps have been designed and built to work especially in harsh conditions where generally normal pumps cannot operate.
