SolstadFarstad has entered into new contract and contract extensions with Petrobras for three of the company’s Brazilian-flagged vessels.

The new deal is a 3-year firm contract, plus 2 years option, for the AHTS BOS Topazio, scheduled to start in Q1 2019, in direct continuation with current charter.

Extensions have been secured for the AHTS Far Santana, and CSV Far Saga.

The Far Santana will be on a firm contract until Q2 2019. The vessel is equipped with Fugro’s FCV work-class ROV suitable for 3.000 meters water depth. Start of the contract amendment will take place during Q2 2018.

Extension to the contract for CSV Far Saga will make it firm until Q2 2020. Far Saga is equipped with two work-class ROVs from i-Tech 7 suitable for 3.000 meters water depth. The contract amendment will take place during Q2 2018.

Vessels will be supporting exploration and production activities on Brazilian continental shelf, SolstadFarstad said.
