Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) and humidity control specialist Dehum have entered a strategic partnership to jointly bring solutions to issues in maintaining stable atmospheric environments within confined spaces of offshore wind farm assets.
Toby Mead , Operations Director of MRE said: “Since 2013, MRE has provided fully integrated temporary power packages to 12 European offshore wind projects and as a company we have adapted our offering based on the many lessons learnt in delivering those projects[.]”
According to Mead, the collaboration is a natural extension of MRE’s capabilities and one that will provide damage protection and reduce costly practical issues to transition piece equipment and internal structures as a whole.
James Arnold, Engineering Manager at Dehum, said that the company’s further expansion of its offshore portfolio with MRE makes perfect sense, as Dehum has “ designed and installed humidity control systems in some of the worlds harshest conditions.”
“[T]he collaborative opportunity means that we can offer a completely bespoke solution to one of the renewable energy sectors current hot topics and working with MRE allows us to offer tailored packages for any offshore wind installation, no matter how adverse the expected conditions,” Arnold said.
