Offshore helicopter giant Bristow Group has opened its new passenger terminal in Galliano, Louisiana.

Bristow said that the new terminal, located at Bristow’s largest base in the Gulf of Mexico, will allow the company to respond to client demand while providing passengers a safe secure best-in-class facility.

Bristow said its new Galliano terminal features five self-service check-in kiosks (with room to expand), six briefing rooms, 270 seats and six holding rooms.

The terminal also includes walk-through metal detectors, automated x-ray baggage screening machines and on-site HUB security guards, all of which delivers the comprehensive security that clients and the industry demand.

“Bristow sees great value in creating a terminal that provides clients with a seamless, safe and secure experience when flying with Bristow,” said Senior Vice President Americas Robert Phillips . “The investment to create this new terminal validates the importance of our Gulf Coast clients to Bristow’s business strategy and Bristow’s commitment to the Gulf of Mexico.”

President and CEO Jonathan Baliff said: “We value our Gulf of Mexico clients and their employees and this investment tangibly demonstrates Bristow’s commitment to deliver the highest level of safety, service, and efficiency to them.”
