US energy giant ExxonMobil’s Angore pipeline project in Papua New Guinea sustained damage in recent protests in the country.
The spokesperson for ExxonMobil’s PNG unit told Reuters that heavy equipment at the project sustained damage due to vandalism at well pad A in Anfore.
The company continues to monitor the situation in the Hela province and will assess the impact of the damage on the project’s schedule.
