DEME Group has just released this amazing photo of their railing suction hopper dredger TSHD ‘Reynaert’, taken on the river Seine in France between Le Havre and Rouen.

Deepening works are carried out on the river to further enhance vessel access to the inland Port of Rouen, said DEME.

The dredging operations are being carried out so as not to interfere with the usual commercial shipping channel.

Rouen is a major river port on the Seine leading down to Paris and its region and further afield.
