Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States have risen during the week ending June 27, edging up for the second week in a row, the Energy Information Administration said in its weekly natural gas report.

Six liquefied natural gas (LNG) tankers with a combined carrying capacity of 21. billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas, departed the United States during the week, one more compared to the previous week.

All six cargoes were loaded at Cheniere’s Sabine Pass export facility in Louisiana with no cargoes loading at the Dominion Cove Point LNG in Maryland.

One tanker, with an LNG-carrying capacity of 3.6 Bcf was loading at Sabine Pass terminal on Wednesday, EIA said.

The natural gas feedstock to both of the terminals averaged 3.6 Bcf/d during the report week, up compared to the 3.3 Bcf/d the week before.
