The Town of Kill Devil Hills has just released the latest update on their beach nourishment project.

This segment highlights the 2018 follow-up projects that support the town’s beach nourishment project in 2017.

As a part of the beach nourishment/beach stabilization project in Kill Devil Hills, Coastal Transplant will be implementing the second phase of vegetative plantings.

Under this plan, a team will be hand installing approximately 200,000 sea oat plants along the nourishment area, for the next 40-60 days.
