South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Mipo Dockyard has secured an order for the construction of four containerships.

The order for the boxship quartet is worth KRW 123.8 billion (around USD 109.2 million).

Under the terms of the contract, the ships are to be built for an unnamed Liberian company by the end of March 2020.

Last week, Hyundai Mipo, part of Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), won a USD 74.5 million order for two product chemical tankers.

To be constructed for Overseas Shipholding Group, the 50,000 dwt vessels are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2019.
