Marine Software Ltd. recently supplied CEMEX UK Marine Limited with the MPM – Marine Planned Maintenance for Windows software for their new build dredger “CEMEX Go Innovation”.

CEMEX and Damen signed the contract for this highly advanced and efficient Marine Aggregate Dredger (MAD) 3500 in January 2018 with delivery being scheduled in late 2019 from Damen Shipyards Galati, Romania.

CEMEX UK Marine commented: “ CEMEX now a seasoned user of Marine Software’s products has found in nearly ten years of collaboration that the personal service provided to the CEMEX fleet has been invaluable. Coupled with the ability of this company to adapt, update and modify their applications to suit our individual requirements has been second to none, a quality often lacking in much larger software providers .”

“ Based on this long-standing partnership and the quality and personal service, CEMEX had no hesitation in wanting to incorporate the Marine Planned Maintenance, Marine Storekeeper, Marine Purchasing and Marine Safety & Document Manager range of products into their vessel under construction to ensure continuity and integration of the vessel’s management, systems which our seafarers of all IT competencies find practical to use ,” added the company.

Designed to extract sand and gravel from the sea bed up to depths of 55 meters, this 103.25 meter vessel has a cargo capacity of 6,600 tonnes.

Classed by Lloyds Register with UK Flag, vessel also boasts a state of the art dredging system with Tier III compliant main engines.
