Swedish company CorPower Ocean is looking to hire a Technical Project Manager as it prepares to enter the next-stage in the development of its full-scale wave energy device.

The responsibilities for the job include managing projects to meet performance, schedule and budget targets, while also aligning project scopes with the overall technical development of the company, CorPower said.

The Swedish developer said the candidate should have a minimum 5-10 years of relevant background from technical project engineering.

“Knowledge in mechanical design, electrical machines, control technology, software development, offshore design, product development methods, reliability and certification processes is qualifying,” CorPower informed.

The deadline to apply for the Stockholm-based position has been set for August 19, 2018.

CorPower Ocean has recently finalized its Stage 3 pilot program taking its latest C3 wave energy converter through ocean testing at the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) in Orkney, and is now preparing for the next stage for the company with a full-scale device.
