Balltec has recently secured a contract from Intermoor in Houston, USA, for the supply of its MoorLOK subsea mooring connectors.
The UK-based company will supply 9 MoorLOK connectors for a project off the coast of West Africa.
The connectors, rated to an MBL of 800 Metric Tonnes, are due to be delivered in September with installation scheduled for completion before the end of 2018.
According to Balltec, Intermoor placed the contract based on past experience and the ‘fast track’ delivery schedule requirements.
