Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal operated by Fluxys is scheduled to receive a cargo from Qatar later in the month.

The 210,000-cbm Al Sadd has departed Qatar’s Ras Laffan liquefied natural gas complex on July 31 and is currently sailing in the Mediterranean Sea.

According to the shipping data, the vessel is scheduled to dock at the Belgian liquefied natural gas import terminal on August 21.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.

Fluxys, the terminal operator noted earlier this month that in July it accommodated six vessels with three unloadings and three loading operations completed.

The facility saw its activity rise during the first half of the year, compared to the corresponding period of 2017. The sendout for the first six months reached 10,867 GWh, 50.6 percent above the 7,217 GWh reported in the corresponding period last year.
