South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries has booked a second consecutive order for a pair of liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers.

The company said in its stock exchange filing that the order has been booked by a North American shipowner, without disclosing the company’s name.

The contract is valued at 412.3 billion Korean won ($367.5 million), the filing reads.

SHI added that the vessels are scheduled for delivery before the end of 2020, without disclosing further information about the two LNG carriers.

The order comes only a couple of days after SHI said it won a contract to construct two LNG carriers for Celsius Tankers.

The two carriers will have a capacity to transport 180,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel, with the orders valued at $187 million for each vessel.
