EM&I, the international asset integrity specialists, has appointed Simon James as its new director of operations.
James has over 20 years experience in operations and asset integrity for offshore oil, gas, and renewables.
He has held senior and executive positions in Total, CNR, Subsea 7, Fugro and DeepOcean, and has worked in Norway, West Africa, the UAE and the UK.
He is a Chartered Engineer (Energy) and a member of the Energy Institute; a Chartered Manager & Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and holds double post graduate degrees from the University of Aberdeen with an MSc in Project Management / Engineering, and an LLM in Oil & Gas Law.
