Dubai-based Zaitoun Green Shipping has initiated, together with six major marine industry players, a consortium to collaborate in developing new levels of performance and environmental efficiency for container vessels.

Each member of the consortium has an important role in developing and building “state-of-the-art” container ships featuring the highest levels of efficiency, French LNG containment specialist GTT, that is also part of the consortium, said in a statement.
