Siemens Offshore Grid Access Service has performed subsea and drone inspections for TenneT TSO at six offshore converter platforms in the German North Sea.
The inspections were completed at the end of August, the company said.
This year, Siemens incorporated ABB-built converter platforms DolWin Alpha and BorWin Alpha in the German Bight within its yearly inspection routine at BorWin Beta, HelWin Alpha, HelWin Beta and SylWin Alpha.
Efficient preparations and excellent weather conditions enabled inspections for in total six converter platforms to be finished ahead of schedule within one week, Siemens said.
