Due to the shape of the new blocks, approximately 33% less blocks are needed than with other available armor blocks.
Furthermore, the placement operation is safer and quicker due to an innovative clamp, developed by BAM and Van Oord.
The video shows how BAM, Van Oord and Rijkswaterstaat are working together to make this project a showcase of innovative Dutch marine works.
