French LNG containment specialist GTT said Monday it received an order from the Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries to design tanks of four new liquefied natural gas carriers.

These LNG tankers are being built for Capital Gas Carrier Corp., owned by Greek shipowner Evangelos Marinakis.

To remind, the deal worth 836.5 billion won ($741 million) was announced by Hyundai Heavy in July this year.

GTT’s Mark III Flex technology has been selected to equip the LNG tanks of these four 174,000-cbm ships, GTT said in its statement.

The delivery of the four vessels is scheduled between the end of 2020 and mid-2021.
