Monaco-based Navios Maritime Containers has announced its plans to pursue a direct listing on a U.S. Stock Exchange.

The company has therefore ceased marketing its proposed U.S. initial public offering and is developing a plan for the listing.

Navios Containers’ latest move is consistent with the company’s prior publicly stated goals to bring NMCI to the U.S. market.

The shipowner said that it will be requesting the N-OTC to resume trading of the company’s common shares on the N-OTC for September 17, 2018.
