Marine energy business Bombora Wave Power Europe has hired law firm Greenaway Scott to act as legal advisor for the company’s first large-scale mWave wave energy project.
With full-scale design and construction underway for the mWave machine, Greenaway Scott will provide Bombora with access to expertise in commercial law, intellectual and commercial property, employment, and corporate law.
The Welsh-based Greenaway Scott will offer legal advice and support to Bombora during the two-and-a-half-year project to design, build and test the 1.5MW mWave energy device.

Having recently secured £10.3 million of EU funds for its £15 million mWave demonstration project, Bombora has this week also informed of a fundraising campaign to raise further £6 million to support the delivery of the project.
