McDermott has completed the first jacket load-out for Saudi Aramco 13 jackets project.

The engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract was announced in January this year with a value said to be between USD 50 million and USD 250 million.

The jackets will be installed at the Zuluf, Marjan, Berri and Abu Safah fields.

The combined total weight of the structures is approximately 24,000 metric tons.

As reported earlier, teams in Dubai and Chennai are responsible for engineering, with construction taking place at McDermott’s facilities in Jebel Ali, Dubai and Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
