French LNG containment specialist, GTT received an order from the Korean shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) to design tanks for two liquefied natural carriers.

Each of the two vessels will have a transport capacity of 180,000 cubic meters in Mark III Flex containment type tanks.

The two carriers units are being built for the European ship-owner Celsius, with delivery expected at the end of 2020.

The tankers were ordered in August at a price of $187 million each, and mark the entry of the Copenhagen-based Celsius Tankers into the LNG industry.
