Mundra LNG terminal to start up by end-October

The 5 mtpa Mundra LNG terminal being developed Adani Group and Gujarat State Petroleum Corp could spring into action by the end of October.

The 5 mtpa Mundra LNG terminal being developed by Adani Group and Gujarat State Petroleum Corp could spring into action by the end of October.

The facility being developed at Mundra port in Gujarat will be inaugurated by India’s prime minister Narendra Modi, together with the pipeline linking the import facility with the trunk pipeline.

Speaking to Reuters, Jagdip Narayan , the state’s chief secretary said the start-up is scheduled for October, however, it could take a year for the facility to reach full capacity.

GSPC has already purchased a commissioning cargo from Shell, Reuters reports, citing sources.
