Multipurpose vessel owner and operator dship Carriers, part of Germany’s deugro Group, has added to its fleet a further two F-500 Eco Trader newbuildings.
The ship pair now completes the series of four units for dship Carriers.
As informed, the new members of the company’s fleet will be delivered during the latter half of 2019 by the Taizhou Sanfu Shipyard in China.
“We are very much looking forward to the delivery of all four F-500s, which will help us to reach our goals in regards to a stable market presence,” Lars Feller, Global Vice President of dship Carriers, commented.
The F-500 vessel type belongs to the new generation of economic multipurpose vessels, which have been developed to reduce fuel consumption and increase stowage flexibility.
The delivery of the first two vessels are scheduled for January and March 2019.
