The United States exported a total of five liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes in the week ending September 26, remained flat relative to the previous week.

A total of five cargoes left the two LNG export facilities in the United State, data from the Energy Information Administration shows.

Four cargoes were dispatched from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG with one leaving Dominion’s Cove Point plant. The total carrying capacity of the five vessels was 18.4 billion cubic feet of LNG from September 20 through September 26.

EIA’s report notes that two more tankers with a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 7.1 Bcf were loading on Wednesday at the Sabine Pass terminal.

Cove Point LNG facility has started a seasonal scheduled maintenance. The last vessel before the start of maintenance departed the facility on September 20.

The outage is scheduled to last about three weeks.

The natural gas feedstock to both Sabine Pass and Dominion’s Cove Point LNG terminal averaged 3.0 Bcf/d during the week under review, compared to 3.1 Bcf/d last week.
