Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Farstad on Tuesday announced it had changed its name to Solstad Offshore ASA.

The company will be listed on Oslo Stock Exchange with the new name Solstad Offshore ASA from October 3rd, 2018. ISIN number, instrument ID and ticker code remain unchanged.

The name Solstad Farstad had been selected following the June 2017 merger of the Norwegian ship owners Solstad Offshore, Farstad Shipping, Deep Sea Supply and Rem Maritime

Solstad Offshore owns some 141 vessels with more than 4.000 employees, serving markets in Europe, Brazil, Australia, and Asia. The company’s head office is located in Skudeneshavn, Norway.
