Weekly exports of liquefied natural gas from the United States decreased during the week ending October 3.

Data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows that four LNG carriers, with a combined carrying capacity of 14.2 billion cubic feet departed from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG facility from September 27 through October 3.

One LNG carrier with a 3.8 Bcf carrying capacity was loading at the plant on October 3.

No LNG vessels departed from Cove Point last week because the facility is undergoing scheduled maintenance. The facility has not received any natural gas feedstock pipeline deliveries since September 21.

The natural gas feedstock to Sabine Pass terminal averaged 2.9 Bcf/d during the week under review remaining level with the past week.
