Thenamaris places LNG carrier order at HHI

Greek ship-owner Thenamaris ordered a new liquefied natural gas carrier at the South Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Greek ship-owner Thenamaris ordered a new liquefied natural gas carrier at the South Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries.

The company said on its website the vessel, Hull 3126 is scheduled for delivery in 2021.

The tanker will have a cargo capacity of 174,000 cubic meters and will feature the GTT Mark III containment system.

It will be powered by WinGD dual-fuel engines, the brief company note shows.

Thenamaris has already placed a similar order earlier this year with delivery set for 2020.
