Weekly exports of liquefied natural gas from the United States dipped for the second week in a row as only four vessels depart during the week ending October 10.
Data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows that four LNG carriers, with a combined carrying capacity of 15 billion cubic feet departed from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG facility from October 4 through October 10.
One LNG carrier with a 3.8 Bcf carrying capacity was loading at the plant on October 3.
No LNG vessels departed from Cove Point last week because the facility is undergoing scheduled maintenance. The facility has not received any natural gas feedstock pipeline deliveries since September 21.
The natural gas feedstock to Sabine Pass terminal averaged 2.7 Bcf/d during the week under review dropping slightly from 2.9 Bcf/d recorded in the week prior.
